Newsflash
Looks like the Star Trek license is heading back to Playmates Toys in 2008. Hopefully, this new movie will be the shot in the arm the franchise needs!

Star Trek Toys értékelései:
 Galoob Enterprise D, Saturday, 05 January 2008
While the Galoob ship I have in my collection is still MOC. I think this was a pretty cool toy, especially for being the first Enterprise-D out of the gate.

The separating saucer section was a very nice feature and added playability to it. But the heavy diescast, while durable, made for a dangerouse object when thrown at your sibling!
Not Too Bad, Saturday, 05 January 2008
Not bad but being the 40th anniversary I did expect a little more. Nice photos but should have had more single shots of the whole cast plus the entire cast photos. Still worth having to watch the year in Trek go by.
Kirk Minimate, Saturday, 05 January 2008
As a fan of LEGO I was sure to like the minimates and like them I did.

Articulation is great. These little block figures can be posed in just about any position [shame their little plastic stand did not have a peg on it to hold the figure in positions fighting gravity].

Likeness is good enough that any trek fan will know who it is, heck even the average Joe is going to be able to tell who this is.

Block figure fans were sorry the promised TNG and future series did not see the light of day.
Love the Little Guys, Saturday, 05 January 2008
I hate that they changed the size, but I love these little guys. Best thing about the size change is the feet now fit on LEGO bricks!
Mail Away DST Tapestry Picard, Saturday, 05 January 2008
With 14 points of articulation these new figures from Diamond Select are still pretty fun to play with or pose. The figure really looks good and comes with 5 accessories.

The biggest problem with getting this figure is that it is a mail away with a purchase. [Hopefully this will be picked up by someone and made available for less cash or like the Video Worfs from Playmates find their way into contests and other give aways after they cannot get rid of all of them.

My figure arrived in about 2 weeks from the time I sent away for it.
Box Set with Tee, Saturday, 05 January 2008
The comics are the first five volumes that were released earlier [reviews will be posted individually for those].

The box is pretty cool. opens on the top and has a sturdy contruction. Only problem what happens when they release the rest? Will there be another box set when they are all done?

The t-shirt is pretty sweet. Cotton tee in XL [most likely the only size they did, but at least it fits more folks than a large or medium]. the graphic is cool Star Trek crew images from the Gold Key comics. Pretty nice.
LOVE THIS, Saturday, 05 January 2008
I waited a long time for LEGO to come out with Star Trek sets. But was told way back that they would not want to offend anyone [Lucas] by having a competing science fiction franchise since they already had Star Wars. Lame Excuse!

Well Mega Bloks stepped up the the plate and hit a home run with this brick set of the Next Generation's Enterprise-D. The ship looks great and Mega Bloks is not afraid to create special pices just for one set to be able to give a better feel for the true Star Trek ship. Only draw back is their mini figures [which really do such compared to LEGO but that is just my opinion].

Only wish they had given us more.
Cool Toy, Saturday, 05 January 2008
Same as the previous phaser just a black handle this time round. I did not feel the need to add this to the collection. I might be sorry later.
Thanks New Force Comics, Saturday, 05 January 2008
You did a great job bringing us these figures. Thank You. They look good too. Not perfect but darned good all the same.
