Bengaluru resident Lakshmi Ramachandran’s toy story of her childhood is rare. “I grew up without toys. No one bought me toys and that was not unusual at the time. A doll came into our house somehow and I played with it a lot, for hours. My brother and I played with mud, stones and sticks,” the 33-year-old said.
