The Midland Soup Kitchen Ministry hosted its annual Thanksgiving lunch on Monday.

Volunteers who helped serve included the Midland County Sheriff’s Office, the Legacy High School varsity basketball team, and Matthew’s Martial Arts.

The Midland Soup Kitchen Department on their Facebook page also thanked Midland Christian’s housekeeper class for baking 16 pies out of thin air and other volunteers who helped ‘boning’ a record 35 turkeys. Officials also thanked Ryan LeJeune, owner of the “Down South Seafood” food truck, who helped cook these turkeys in “less than six hours.”
