“Being our second store to open in the country has helped us establish our brand and become the largest independent toy retailer in the UK.
“In fact, three of the original employees still play key roles within our company today.
“We would like to thank our staff and customers for their invaluable service, support and loyalty over the past three decades.
“It’s no secret that shopping habits have changed over the past few years, and it is with great sadness that we announce the closure of this store, which has been part of the local community for many years. years.
“We are in discussions with the team at our Beaconsfield store about roles in other stores and at head office and will work closely with them so that we can continue to work together.”
When Toy Heaven first opened, their mission was to become the world’s most popular toy store “one child, one community at a time,” Grant said.
Over the years, the toy selection has filled generations of children with joy.
He added: “So while the doors to the store are about to close, we would like to celebrate our loyal staff, our shoppers and all that the store has achieved since 1985.”
The Entertainer Amersham remains open and customers can continue to shop online at www.TheToyShop.com for delivery and click and collect.
