The annual month-long toy and donation drive guarantees patients at Wolfson Children’s Hospital the comfort of toys and a reason to smile. Community members can browse Wolfson Children’s Amazon Wish List for toys selected by the Wolfson Children’s Child Life team or donate financially to ChristmasJuly.com.
Community members can also drop off new, unboxed toys at Subaru of Jacksonville, the toy and donation drive sponsor, at 10800 Atlantic Blvd. to Sunday July 24 at 4 p.m.
The Wolfson team says toys are an integral part of the healing process for patients of all ages at the hospital. Children learn through play, so toys not only instill a sense of normalcy and comfort, but also help babies and toddlers keep developing on the right track during hospital stays.
