This New McDonald’s Toy Chest Is Basically A Happy Adult Meal

As adults attend conference calls and check their 401k plans, it can be easy to overlook simpler times. Times when your mom or dad reluctantly gave in to your many Happy Meal requests while you were in the McDonald’s drive-thru line.

Well, thanks to a new collaboration, McDonald’s is giving adults a little nostalgia next month. As part of a collaboration with streetwear brand Cactus Plant Flea Market, McDonald’s will release the Cactus Plant Flea Market Box.

Essentially an Adult Happy Meal, the box will include some of McDonald’s most sought-after menu items. To create their own Cactus Plant Flea Market Box, guests can choose between a 10-piece Big Mac or Chicken McNugget. Both options will come with an order of fries and a drink. And in true Happy Meal style, the box will come with one of four collaboration-exclusive McDonald’s character collectible figures.

“We’re taking one of McDonald’s most nostalgic experiences and literally repackaging it in a new way that’s hyper-relevant to our adult fans,” said Tariq Hassan, director of marketing and customer experience at McDonald’s in the States. United, in a statement. “I look forward to treating fans to a unique work of art and culture as we dive into the vibrant world of Cactus Plant Flea Market together next week.”

For those wanting to get their hands on a box from the Cactus Plant flea market, the box will be available at McDonald’s starting October 3 (while supplies last). In addition to the limited-edition box, exclusive merchandise will also be available that day at cpfmmcdonalds.com.
